The School Complex embracing II Secondary School and IT College in Rabka-Zdrój, named after Professor Józef Tischner, an eminent Polish priest and philosopher, is located on the hills overlooking a picturesque health resort of Rabka-Zdrój. Due to its excellent location in the proximity of two well-known cities, Kraków and Zakopane, the town is an ideal starting point for various sightseeing tours and mountain trips.
The school employs 34 dedicated and enthusiastic teachers who ensure that the highest standards and quality of education are provided for. The staff aim to widen and deepen students’ knowledge and appreciation of their areas of expertise, whilst also challenging all students to reach their full potential, encouraging them to pursue new interests and equipping them with the skills required for success in the competitive 21st century.
The school caters for the educational welfare of over 400 students in the age range from 16 to 20. Students attend school from Monday to Friday. They usually start lessons at 8.00 a.m and finish them at about 2/3.00 p.m, therefore spending 6-7 hours daily on the school premises. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes and is separated by a few minute break.
